It’s tough to be here right now. To feel paralyzed in between spasms of positive effort. To still have doubt in what’s about to happen over the next few weeks and months, standing waist-deep in 4 years of visible public atrocities. And to know that history will paint us all with one broad brush. That we deserved what we got.

Somehow I still harbor hope, against all logic. But don’t trust me, I’ve been immersed in this 40-year national experiment in neoliberal GOP gaslighting. I don’t understand a thing anymore.
